I have completed the CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications within the last 3 years, do I only need to take the digital units to receive the digital qualification?
Yes, all graduates of the CAM Diploma in Marketing Communication need only take the digital units to complete their qualification. Back to list
I have the CIM Professional / Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, am I exempt from any units of the Digital Diplomas?
Yes, as a CIM graduate of the Professional or Professional Postgraduate Diploma you are exempt from the Marketing and Consumer Behaviour Unit of the Diploma in Digital Marketing. Back to list
Does each of the CAM Digital units give me an award?
Yes, by completing each of the CAM Digital modules you receive an Award in that subject. So the Digital Marketing Essentials will give you Digital Marketing Essentials Award upon successfully completing. Back to list
What is the difference between the two digital qualifications?
The Diploma in Digital Marketing gives you information on what digital marketing is about, the buzz words, main trends. It covers Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC), types of online advertising, email marketing, viral marketing, online PR, affiliate marketing and social media. It also looks at digital metrics, legislation, regulation and codes of practice. This is a qualification for anyone who is in Marketing and wants to know what is happening in digital.
The Diploma in Managing Digital Media is about putting digital marketing into practice. Doing the work, running the digital campaigns and what you need to be aware of. This is for people whose role might involve them working with digital media and implementing strategies that involve digital media. This qualification also looks at the fast changing landscape of social media and emerging trends.
Some students may consider doing both digital diplomas and cover the whole scope. Back to list
Where can I study for the new digital qualifications?
This year we will be offering the CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing and the CAM Diploma in Managing Digital Media through our selected accredited study centres listed below. Please note that our study centres offer a variety of study methods including distance learning, part time and intensive. You can contact the study centres directly for more information on when their courses are starting.
What is the cost of membership and assessment fees for the new digital qualifications?
Membership fee for the CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing and the CAM Diploma in Managing Digital Media is £140 and assessment fees are £85 for assignments and £65 for examinations. Back to list
I am already studying for a CAM/CIM qualification or hold a current membership with CIM; do I need to pay extra membership fees for the digital qualifications?
